Dear Members and Future Members

Welcome! It has been a long, demanding and difficult process, but the website is complete. This website will enable our organization to better serve our membership in various areas, such as keeping members updated on upcoming events; in particular our yearly conference. Through our website, we can now spotlight the many accomplishments of our membership. In addition, it affords this organization the opportunities to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, but who remain in our hearts, such as Jessica Cheney.

On this site you will be able renew your membership, apply for the Jessica Cheney Scholarship, register and pay for the annual conference, and please take advantage of two (2) new areas the members’ only section and the ability to pay for the conference and membership fees. We hope to use the members’ only area to exchange ideas, policies, procedures, and network.

Please take the time to review this new website; it is a tribute to every member of our organization. If you are not currently a member of MAAWLE, now is the time to join our growing organization. By becoming a member of MAAWLE, you will become a member of a dynamic organization that promotes women in law enforcement positions. Take the first step by signing up for the Annual MAAWLE Conference. I hope to see you there.

Sincerely Yours,
E. Marie Hayes
President, MAAWLE
