Registration for the 2023 Miles for MAAWLE Challenge is now open!
This is the 4th year for the challenge and I truly look forward to it every year because it gives me a chance to connect with each and every one of you and most importantly to help raise funds for the annual training conference.
The Mid-Atlantic Association of Women in Law Enforcement is an amazing, and unique organization. Every year we meet for an entire week of excellent training and valuable networking. Hosting 200 female police officers for five days is certainly an expensive endeavor and for that reason, we do this challenge!
In 2023 the conference will be held in beautiful Annapolis, Maryland! The funds raised will help pay for presenters, food, hands on training, and the conference venue.
Last year we had a record number of participants and I hope that I can say the same about this year. Please spread the flyer and registration form far and wide and get ready for this fun challenge!
New for this year is, as you can see, is the Miles for MAAWLE email account! I'm hopeful that this will be an easy transition for all of you and will help organize things. Keeping track of thousands of miles and so many participants is a difficult task - but I'm up for the challenge - and I hope you're up for the 2023 Miles for MAAWLE Challenge!
