Passing of Sue Ann Cheney

Members, please remember our dear friend Sue Ann Cheney, who passed away on December 8, 2024. Sue Ann and her husband, Richard Cheney, were loyal supporters of MAAWLE. Following the loss of their daughter Jessica, they honored her memory by establishing a scholarship fund, which has assisted many members in achieving their academic goals. Sue Cheney served as a dispatch supervisor for the Virginia State Police and actively supported C.O.P.S. in Virginia.

Please offer a prayer for this remarkable woman and keep Richard and the family in your thoughts. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to the national C.O.P.S. organization in her memory.
